ASID announces 2025 National Award Winners

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) announces their 2025 National Award winners. This is the highest recognition for the industry. Recipients are recognized across three categories the Annual Awards, the Legacy Awards and the FOCUS Project Awards.

 ASID California Peninsula Chapter took home the Annual Award for Best Chapter. Pamela Hope Designs was honored with firm of the year.

Designer of the year went to Dina Lamanna, ASID. Lamanna is a principal and director of hospitality interior design for HOK’s Hospitality group. The graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design work is seen globally in the Four Seasons, Westin, the Walt Disney Family Foundation and Gordon Ramsay.

The Legacy Award for Designer of Distinction went to Tim Schelfe, FASID. Schelfe is a principal and Director of Interior Design & Procurement at Ci Design, Inc.

The FOCUS Project Awards honored nine projects that exemplified wellness, community, sustainability and diversity.

“ASID’s National Awards honor the individuals and projects that illuminate the transformative impact of design,” said Khoi Vo, chief executive officer, ASID. “This year’s honorees — from trailblazing practitioners to community-focused projects — demonstrate how thoughtful, inclusive design can inspire well-being, equity and innovation. We are proud to elevate the stories of these award winners and fuel continued excellence across our profession.”
