How Much is AI Involved in Home Building?
Where does the role of AI currently stand with home building? The rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is everywhere in businesses, from live AI customer service agents to AI assisted data collection and organization. The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) finds that it is less utilized by most single-family home builders.
The NAHB/Wells Fargo Housing Market Index (HMI),their most recent survey, they found the integration of AI in business practices to be minimal. At the moment, a reported 20% of single-family home builders use AI to generate marketing materials and advertising. AI is less common in other home building factors like assisting in obtaining permits and automating construction equipment. However NAHB suggests that homebuilders are interested in learning and adopting the technology in the future.
