Freddie Mac CFO Discusses Second Quarter 2025 Results
Jim Whitlinger, Freddie Mac’s CFO, addressed the second quarter performance in a press conference on July 31, 2025. Freddie Mac reported financing for over 360,000 American families solely in the second quarter. He described the second quarter financials with net income of $2.4 billion this quarter and the details of the Single- Family and Multifamily Business Segment.
Whitlinger mentioned Freddie Mac is working closely with U.S. Federal Housing to increase revenue and productivity, “These actions ultimately will result in an even safer and stronger Freddie Mac and a better U.S. housing finance system. That is our mission.”
